Ram's apex predator returns to Polk County
The 2027 Ram 1500 TRX SRT is the first off-road truck from the relaunched SRT Performance division and the first Ram to wear SRT badging since 2006. Under the scooped hood sits the Supercharged 6.2L HEMI® V8, now rated at 777 horsepower and 680 lb-ft of torque. Ram calls it the most powerful production street-legal gas half-ton pickup ever built.1

Supercharged HEMI® power, reworked for 2027
SRT engineers raised output by more than 10 percent over the previous TRX, from 702 to 777 horsepower and from 650 to 680 lb-ft of torque. A 2.4L twin-screw supercharger is fed by a dual-path induction system that pulls cool air through both the grille opening and the center hood scoop, then routes it to a high-capacity radial air filter in an open-top airbox that is easy to clean in the field.
Power runs through a high-torque-capacity TorqueFlite® 8HP95 eight-speed automatic with aluminum paddle shifters, then to a BorgWarner full-time active transfer case with 4WD Auto, 4WD High and 4WD Low settings and a 2.64:1 low range for slow, precise crawling.

The TRX rides two inches higher and six inches wider than the Ram 1500 Rebel. Up front, forged aluminum upper and lower control arms allow 13 inches of wheel travel, while a five-link coil rear setup with an axle hop damper delivers up to 14 inches of travel.
Second-generation Bilstein® Black Hawk e2 adaptive shocks adjust compression and rebound independently, and Ram Active Terrain Dynamics coordinates them with traction and stability control. The system can even sense when the truck is airborne and prepare the shocks for a controlled landing.7

A performance cabin with Tungsten-level finish
Every TRX comes fully equipped. Heated, ventilated and massaging 12-way power front seats with memory are matched by heated, ventilated and reclining rear seats. For the first time, the TRX adds a leather-wrapped airbag cover with red stitching, a full suede headliner and suede-wrapped visors.
Genuine carbon fiber frames the digital cluster and accents the doors, and the passenger-side TRX logo is laser-milled into the carbon fiber.

2027 Ram 1500 TRX SRT exterior colors
The TRX is offered in eight exterior colors. Because the TRX is sold as a single, fully equipped trim, every color below is available on every TRX. Spitfire Orange is exclusive to the TRX, and Goldilocks arrives later in the model year.8

The TRX uses one interior color scheme, black with red accents, and the Bloodshot Night Edition package changes the trim details.

TRX SRT gas mileage
The EPA rates the 2027 TRX SRT at 10 mpg city, 14 mpg highway and 12 mpg combined. It has a 33-gallon fuel tank and premium unleaded fuel is recommended.3
Towing and payload ratings
When properly equipped, the TRX tows up to 8,100 lbs and carries up to 1,220 lbs of payload. A dedicated Tow drive mode and an integrated trailer brake controller help on longer pulls.5
